From Vienna to Rome: Our journey along EuroVelo 7 and other cycle routes
Susanne Bednarik and Thomas Drescher took their first multi-day bikepacking trip together in June 2025. This summer, they set out on another adventure, following multiple EuroVelo routes on their way to their final destination – Rome. Susanne tells us how it went, how they finally succeeded in their hunt for a swim after many days of searching, and gives us tips on how to prepare for such an adventure.
