Starting in Abaújnádasd, the route climbs toward Kéked and Hollóháza along the northern foothills of the Zemplén Mountains. Near Füzér, volcanic peaks and the scenic surroundings of Füzér Castle dominate the landscape. Through Füzérkomlós, Nyíri and Bózsva the ride passes wooded hillsides and quiet valleys. After Pálháza and Mikóháza the terrain becomes gentler before entering Sátoraljaújhely on the fringes of the Bodrog region.
