The EuroVelo 14 route from Tiszafüred to Tiszacsege follows the Tisza River, alternating between shaded floodplain forests, embankment-top sections and open stretches of the Great Plain. The scenery blends river landscapes with vast lowland horizons, occasionally showing the edge of the Hortobágy. The villages along the way are peaceful and rural, and near Tiszacsege the route reaches the calm, characteristic riverside of the Tisza.
