Survey for cycling tourists: share your feedback!

Mittwoch, 18. September 2024
Have you ever cycled during your holidays, especially in the Danube region? We need your feedback! Fill out a 10-minute independent survey and help us improve cycling tourist experience, especially in connection with public transport.

This survey is for everyone who has cycled during their holidays. Cycling tourism is not only a week-long tour with a bicycle – it is also one overnight stay with a bit of cycling involved. Whatever the type of cyclist you are, your feedback is important.

We have made it extra accessible by translating the questions into fourteen languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish.

This survey has a special focus on the Danube Region, as it is funded by the Interreg Danube Region programme. It is crossed by EuroVelo 6 – Atlantic - Black Sea, which includes the cycle route along the Danube, but it is not limited to EuroVelo routes. This means that if you have cycled elsewhere, on or off EuroVelo routes, the survey is also for you.

You will find questions about your cycling experience, the places you visited, as well as about public transport. One of our goals is to improve knowledge about the combined use of public transport and cycling during holidays.

About

The survey is conducted by the European Cyclists’ Federation, the non-governmental organisation that manages the EuroVelo initiative. It has been commissioned by the Danube Office Ulm/Neu-Ulm as part of the EU co-funded Interreg Danube Region project Active2Public Transport. This project has partners from all the region and is focused on active travel, such as cycling, and the connection with public transport, in order to guarantee better connections for all types of users.

The survey is anonymous. All answers will be used confidentially and for aggregated analysis. The results of the survey will be made public and form part of the EuroVelo Data Hub.
