EuroVelo 13 Iron Curtain Trail

This stage begins at the border near Bácsszőlős and leads toward Mórahalom, a town rich in tourism services thanks to its thermal bath, riding mostly on cycle paths. The route continues toward Röszke, and from Szentmihály a fully built cycle path leads directly into central Szeged. Visitors may spend several days in the city, after which the route leaves Szeged via Újszőreg toward Tiszasziget, where it crosses the border into Serbia. From this point on, EuroVelo 13 no longer passes through Hungary.
