The EuroVelo 13 cycle route arrives in Barcs, Hungary, and from here it follows the Drava River dike, where you'll find a very smooth asphalt path. This is also the case for 6-7 km before and after Vejti. We leave the Drava dike at Drávaalmási and cycle through Kastélyosdomb and Tótújfalu. After Felsőszentmárton, we cycle on the dike again. The Drava is a relatively unregulated Hungarian river, and its pristine nature is immediately apparent. It's no coincidence that smaller and larger areas along the Drava belong to the Danube-Drava National Park. The National Park Directorate operates several nature conservation programs in the surrounding towns, which do excellent work in promoting the local community. The EuroVelo 13 cycle route leaves the Drava at Drávaszabolcs and heads north to Harkány. Harkány is famous for its spa and its attractions, such as churches and statues of varying sizes.
